We are using freeVSD 1.4.10 with the default skel on one of our servers. All seems to be working fine, but we are running into problems when trying to upgrade to PHP 4.1.2 (one of our clients wants to use the new session handling features in PHP, and there is also the security risk with older versions of PHP).
We've tried to configure PHP after "bevs'ing" to a virtual server, but without any success. Configuring PHP on the host server and then copying the libphp4.so file to the VSD server does not work either. The requirement to use Apache DSO modules (i.e. apxs) complicates the upgrade even more. It seems as if a new skel will have to be created. Isn't there a simpler way of doing this? rgrds, Johan Pretorius http://host24.com Your site.
