Hi all,

a few days ago I send an e-mail with a question about
virtual e-mail addresses. I recieved a few hints from
Tim but it didn't help.
I have the following problem:
(I use the 'mail' program to send test mail)

- When I send an e-mail form our hostserver to a virtual
or real e-mail account on one of our virtual servers
it queues the e-mail instead of sending it to the
corresponding e-mail directories. It appears in the
/var/mail/queue dir but not in any directory under
/var/mail/virtual/domain.com

- When i send an e-mail from within the virtual server
it gives me a 'named timed out' message.

- We have a test server running with exactly the same
software configuration and on this machine it does work.

- The homebuild skel we use should work as the
trial skel for rh72 from the idaya website gives the
same messages and shows the same queueing behaviour.

Ok this is a weird problem and that is probably
the reason I couldn't come up with a solution.

If anyone can give me a hint or anything, please do.

Thanks in advance,

Maarten
