If you are using Proftpd, there is a Bind config statement,

http://proftpd.linux.co.uk/docs/directives/linked/config_ref_Bind.html

That may do it....

Subject: Non-Passive mode FTP wont add to a VSs bandwidth

Hi all,

I've just thought about something - surely non-passive mode FTP will
not contribute to a VSs bandwidth (if done on an outgoing packets IP
address basis) as the FTP daemon will connect to the client and this
will be done from the host servers IP rather than the VSs.

Is there any way around this other than disabling non-passive mode
FTP? Can you configure what IP address it connects from?!

TIA

Kind Regards,
