Thanks, but I have tried restarting xinetd to no avail - logs show the
service is running ("readjusting service svsd"). Besides, I can telnet
to port svsd and get a connection. I think perhaps the "Connection
Refused" error string is incorrect and misleading as to the true
problem.
Could I ask you to have a look in your /var/log/vsd.log after a
successful admin command and see what the "SSL certificate verification"
lines are supposed to look like? I'm thinking the "ok: 0" might be the
culprit.
