to convert use:
~$ dd if=image.bin of=image.trx bs=32 skip=1

I needed it to enable the complete RAM...

Also you should be aware of the fact that the original firmware uses
different variable names in the nvram, so I had some problems with
configuring PPPoE with the webif as it did not set any of "idletime",
"demand" or "keepalive"...

But with this in mind the device works great.

yes, there are several people around here and there was even more
traffic a few weeks ago... maybe the traffic grows with the end of the
holiday season ;-)
