Hi all,

Since you imported the current alpha snapshot of our webif yesterday I
have been thinking about what we can do to reduce the workload of
porting each others work back and forth. I emailed eJunky about it,
but I figured I'd go ahead and post here as well.

At present, we are making fixes, rewrites, additions, and enhancements
daily. I would prefer you always have the latest code. Likewise, any
changes you make I'd like to port back. These tasks will become more
and more laborous as the projects divide.

Can we agree to work on a single repository dedicated to the webif? If
we think about what is best for the community's advancement, then this
is the logical choice. Projects can take snapshots of our combined
work at any time and copy them into their own repositories.

There is no reason this shouldn't be done. At present we are the ones
who are most active in webif development, so it is you who will be
saved the most work.

Please consider it. We will grant write access to anyone who wants it.
Firmware specific changes can be incorporated into the base code to be
optionally included in the package -- or they can be overlaid on the
base webif code in your own repositories.
