We need more information about the patches. From which tarball the
support for bcm47xx comes from? We really need a clean and
documented patch directory for our next release. Stuff we do not
need, support or is old and already fixed in latest 2.4 should be
removed.

This is not from one specific tarball. It's a mix of several,
including our previous work and the following files:
WRT54GL_v4.30.5.tgz
WRT300N_v0.92.5.tgz
WRT300N_v0.93.9_US_source_code_with_toolchain_20061013.tgz
The structure is quite different from what you can find in the tarballs,
I changed quite a bit of it myself, so that much of the driver support
code is linked into wl.o itself.
