to /usr/share/shorewall/runtime or /usr/lib/shorewall or something like this... It not important that the user finds it. but definitly not to /etc... all that stuff is not to configure it manually, so it doesn't belong in /etc at all. I never thought about running fwcf commit automaticlly. > I'd like to remind you, while we're touching this topic, of the > policy that 'fwcf commit' must never be called automatically, by > any script or whatsoever, only by the user, because it does not > use locking, among other things. another important reason against /etc (fwcf) is that you cannot delete files. shorewall afaik exepect that files can be deleted. > So, probably, jffs2. for sure... and I will do it the way debian would do. empty directory are not shipped within the packages, instead it will created with the postinst script. the same is for removing this dir when "ipkg remove" is called. prerm/postrm have to take care of removing the directory including all maybe existing files in it. > bye, > //mirabile _______________________________________________ freewrt-developers mailing list [email protected] https://www.freewrt.org/lists/listinfo/freewrt-developers
