Actually, basic SUSv3 locale support plus iconv makes this much
easier and smaller to implement in such components. Additionally,
libstdc++ already picks it up automatically (no idea about uClibc++).

Not yet. Interesting idea. Who did the update last time? I might
even do it, corresponding with him (and maybe a certain helpful
developer from that Other WRT) for things to look for first.

But I don't know if we want this pre-1.1.
