Hm.
Suggesting /bin/sh is weird. Maybe the kernel process ought to
be taught to use ${MBSH} instead, which we set to a proper shell
(mksh if installed, GNU bash otherwise)?
Interestingly enough, maybe your /bin/sh isn’t ash or somesuch,
but GNU bash 4.x, and my eMail signature applies……… in that case,
building mksh is probably way to go. (Just emerge it.)
