Yes, we would like to include a web interface to configure FreeWRT. Unfortunately only one of our developers is working on that. Markus tries to integrate the web interface from the x-wrt project. There are some prerequisites for a web interface in FreeWRT. A web interface should be modular with a well documented base system in a readable programming language. That means, if a package maintainer would like to add a web interface to his package, it should be a simple task. The core web interfaces should be dynamically extensible. We'll have no web interface in FreeWRT 1.0. There are other ideas flying around. Some people would like to create a JAVA and/or TCL/TK application, to configure FreeWRT remotely via Secure Shell. Both projects are still at the beginning and have no productive code. Another idea is to create a command line interface similar to Cisco's IOS as backend for a web interface. bye Waldemar -- don't open your wrt, free it http://www.freewrt.org _______________________________________________ freewrt-users mailing list [email protected] https://www.freewrt.org/lists/listinfo/freewrt-users
