Hi all,

After getting FreeWRT up and running on my WGT634U, I tried to set up
the network configuration under /etc/network/interfaces, but have
damaged them.

I have tried failsafe mode. The trick is that I can get the failsafe
utility to recognise the WGT634U router if I have it plugged into the
WAN port during the boot process (but not through any of the LAN
ports). The utility states:

Msg from 192.168.1.1: Press reset now, to enter Failsafe!

But no matter how many times I try, I cannot get it to progress past
this point.

I know something happens, becuase pinging 192.168.1.1 no longer states
host is down, but instead just sits there. If I disconnect and then
reconnect the network cable, pinging will state that host is down
again on 192.168.1.1.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thanks,

Robert
