-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello list,
I have a question regarding installing an nfs-server. I have not figured out how to setup nfs right on my Asus WL-500gd. I've installed the following packages: kmod-fs-nfsd nfs-utils Then I've edited the exports file: "/mnt/disc0_1/data franz(ro,subtree_check,all_squash,insecure)" After that I started the nfsd "/etc/init.d/S70nfsd start". This seemed to work too. The problem is I can't find the nfsd process in my system("ps -Af") [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/etc# ps -Af PID Uid VmSize Stat Command 1 root 368 S init 2 root SW [keventd] 3 root RWN [ksoftirqd_CPU0] 4 root SW [kswapd] 5 root SW [bdflush] 6 root SW [kupdated] 8 root SW [mtdblockd] 37 root SWN [jffs2_gcd_mtd5] 81 root 376 S logger -s -p 6 -t 85 root 368 S init 88 root 376 S syslogd -C 16 93 root 348 S klogd 228 root 396 S udhcpc -b -p /var/run/udhcpc.eth0.1.pid -i eth0.1 239 root 392 S /usr/sbin/dropbear -g 240 root SW [khubd] 257 root SW [usb-storage-0] 258 root SW [scsi_eh_0] 262 1 316 S portmap 291 root SW [kjournald] 292 root 588 R /usr/sbin/dropbear -g 293 admin 468 S -ash 302 root 560 S sh 326 root 424 S /usr/sbin/mountd 334 root 376 R ps -Af And when I try a rpcinfo on my desktop computer I get the following output with no nfs service(192.168.178.34 is the router). [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ rpcinfo -p 192.168.178.34 program vers proto port 100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper 100000 2 udp 111 portmapper 100005 1 udp 926 mountd 100005 1 tcp 929 mountd 100005 2 udp 926 mountd 100005 2 tcp 929 mountd 100005 3 udp 926 mountd 100005 3 tcp 929 mountd Is this correct? Thank you for your help.
