Hello,

this is my first post to the list and I am not sure my subject really
fits what I`d like to ask but here it goes (I know this is rather a
networking related question than related to freewrt itself but maybe
someone here can give me some pointers on what I have to ask google to
get the information am looking for).

I have a WLAN router which provides internet access to my local network
and I`d like to use another router, which runs freewrt, to connect to
the aformentioned one over WLAN and to serve as connection for some
other machines, which are connected via cable, to the internet.

Maybe a little graphic makes it clearer:

PC1 -------> WRT54G (freewrt) ------> other ROUTER ------> WWW
    CABLE ^ WLAN
               |
PC2 -----------
    CABLE

So the WRT54G would just act as a switch (I guess).

My question is: Is this possible? And if can someone provide me some
hints or tips on what I have to search for (google etc.). I am not
asking for a tutorial or step by step instructions ;-).

Thanks in advance!

Best regards
Michael
