Hi, I'm also struggling with FreeWRT 1.0.3 and ADSL. Have an ASUS WL500g deluxe.

I have following errors: Jan 1 01:44:42 (none) daemon.warn pppd[1134]: Timeout waiting for PADO packets Jan 1 01:44:42 (none) daemon.err pppd[1134]: Unable to complete PPPoE Discovery Look at this thread: http://osdir.com/ml/embedded.freewrt.general/2006-11/msg00011.html http://osdir.com/ml/embedded.freewrt.general/2006-12/msg00009.html Unfortunately both hints doesn't help me. Perhaps you? Another error I found: with the informations from /etc/network/interfaces (provider $name, ppp-username ...) and the 'use-template' it should be generated a file in /etc/ppp/peers/$name For me the file was generated, but had a 'unvisible' space character at the end, so that pppd couldn't find it. Perhaps rename this file without the space character.
