I wouldnt mind knowing whos on the list, and what they do etc. Personally I
hold back from posting some rants and raves because I dont know who the
other people are and wether or not they know more about the subject than I
do.
Still, great list tho.

frendz, roaming countrymen,

Just thought I'd say....

ANYONE can post to this list. :-) Originally I had hoped that 'frendz' would
be
more interactive than it is now - that ppl might talk to each other more. I
hadn't reckoned on 'posting inertia' . Not to worry, frendz has migrated
nicely
to a place where I can share cool stuff I find on the net with my m8s.

And you can too.

If you want to post a link, the convention I've been using is to make sure
the
subject line is relevant, write a short intro describing the link, and maybe
quote some text from the page, surrounded by double-quotes. Obviously the
link
should be in the text somewhere, with 'http://' on the front so that fancy
email clients can pick it up. 'File | Send Link' in Nutscrape gives a good
template.

So what else could you post? Feedback, maybe. What about "There's too much
rubbish on this list, stop posting", or "I like links like that" would be
good.

Do you want to know who else is on the list? In the interests of privacy
I've
kept this closed, but I guess that's like being in a pub where you don't
know
anyone, and you can't see the people you do know until they talk. No wonder
no-one's talking to each other.

What about marsbard.com? Does it do enough for you? Perhaps you want it to
do
something else. Let me know, I might be able to code it... Or maybe you want
to
practice your perl/PHP/HTML/unix - I still have a fair amount of space left,
you can have some. Maybe you just want a homepage without any adverts on it.

Anyway, enough rant. We're all frendz here...
