By default, babelfish is annoying, forcing you to see their intermediate form
and not allowing an automatic display of the page. (IMHO they should tack an
ad on the translated page and allow it.)
Anyway, it's possible to spoof it. You need the following variables:
urltext: either a URL or a text string.
lp: a "language pair" - one of 'en_fr', 'en_de', 'en_it', 'en_pt' or 'en_es'
for translation from english to french, german, italian, portuguese or spanish.
Alternatively you can go from any of those back to english. I don't think you
can do (eg) spanish to french but I haven't tried it yet.
doit: should have the value 'done'
So to see the Kebele site at marsbard in french, the following should work:
http://babelfish.altavista.com/cgi-bin/translate?urltext=http://marsbard.com/live/kebeleTable.php3&lp=en_fr&doit=done
although that URL will probably wrap...
I'm going to use that trick on the W4U site...
