Sure, but I meant really a compomise between the portability of the Libretto
and the power and features of the Inspiron, with a premium to pay over the
price of either of these two.

Not sure which model of Latitude you currently have, but I haven't yet
experienced the problem you describe with the CPi... Having said that, I've
not been using it long enough to have necessarily been troubled by it.

Then again, a laptop is /always/ an expensive compromise. Mainly I'd 
like to avoid the hassles I've had with my Latitude - the screen 
connector cable is approx .25 inch too long for the mounting and the 
small fold that is necessitated seems to go once every 6 months. The 
solution seems to be to replace the whole screen assembly. This is not 
exactly ideal.
