--- F R E N D Z of martian --- A novel variation on email crypto: There are 2 parts to the message, one encrypted, the other not. The unencrypted part is there so you can leave clues that only the other party could guess, such as 'What's my sister's name'. The trick would be to come up with clues that didn't allow an attacker to drastically reduce the size of their wordlist (in this case girls' names). 'What's the 3rd line from my favourite song' might be better, but requires a greater degree of collusion. Might just be fun to send your mates groovy stuff but with a cryptic conundrum attached... or definitely usable for email competitions... -- "I'd like to buy some entropy but I need it encrypted" [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Sent to you via the frendz list at marsbard.com The archive is at http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
