Try to forget that this is one of the worst-looking
websites you've ever seen. Try to forget that the guy responsible seems keen to
promote his own business by promoting the URL to his own (crap) website instead
of the URL I've posted below. Try to ignore the really bad dHTML when you get
there. Try instead to see that this is actually quite a good idea:
You may have noticed the current furore over banks
charging for ATM transactions (despite the huge labour cost it saves them when
you you use a machine instead of going to their counter). This site
encourages you to write 5 cheques for a penny each, on April 3rd. It suggests
you should give them to friends who should then bank them. The cost to the bank
of processing each cheque is around 40-45p
A warning from the website: Make sure there are
funds to cover the transactions (!)
