i've
had this problem when leaving a cdrom in the cd player.. is the drive
empty?

Anyone know much about NT machines? I've got one
sitting here that was working perfectly well last time I shut it down, and now
hangs during boot up. It picks up all the drives, memory and so on, then hangs
at a line saying "Verifying DMI Pool Data" with a flashing cursor
underneath.
Any ideas? Its not actually my machine, and I'm supposed
to be doing some work on it, so this could be a bit embarassing, any help much
appreciated.
