I've stumbled on a nifty use of the Google Web Toolkit: http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/ someone built for mobile phone web browsers.
Simply place the string: http://www.google.com/gwt/n?u= before any existing URL and it turns the pages into mobile phone friendly format. It includes AJAX stunts for opening and closing divisions within the "mobilized" pages. I find it so useful that I even use it on noisy pages I'm currently viewing on my laptop. It turns them into a more readable form, sorta like "printer-friendly", AJAX enabled sites. -- Owen Owen Densmore http://backspaces.net ============================================================ FRIAM Applied Complexity Group listserv Meets Fridays 9a-11:30 at cafe at St. John's College lectures, archives, unsubscribe, maps at http://www.friam.org
