Although time-travel stories are often convoluted and confusing,
this story is in fact interesting: it has the classic Jurassic
Park appeal, and revolves around two interesting questions. First
the question how strong the famous "butterfly effect" can be,
and second Gould's "rewind the tape" question: what would
happen if we rewind the tape of evolution and let it play
again. I wonder if the butterfly effect was named after
Ray Bradbury's story, because it was written in 1952 - long
before chaos theory became popular.
