Quite possibly "crowdsourcing" is this month's leading buzz word.  Still, the links below lead to some interesting stuff. 

This data flow, though, can offer some neat challenges for measurement and dynamics of ideas ("memeflow" -- you saw it here first) and, I suspect, seeing how well complexity theory/studies correlates with real-world phenomena.
