Sorry for not being clear: My suggestion was to go to the /. article,
with comments, and search for "unlocked" in the comments.
It showed how much others, like both you and me, want to get an
unlocked version for using with a better provider than Cingular, who
by all accounts, really sucks in terms of service. TMobile, on the
other hand, here in the US, is great for service, but lousy for
phones. So I'm hoping to be able to keep TMobile, yet use the iPhone.
If history is a guide, the Cingular phones will be available on eBay
within days of their availability from Cingular.
