Cant tell if there is some guerinesque legpulling going on here. The Gibson I
was thinking of was JJ Gibson, inventor of a psychology in which all
information is latent in the environment and the organism 'picks it up " by
strategies of movement with respect to the environment. this way of thinking,
of course, turns perception into a behavior, just teh way foraging is a
behavior.
