One of the clear examples of emergent human social behavior is the fashion  
industry and its adolescent parallel.  
 
In reference to group and selfless behavior, I think it is a miracle that  
human societies don't more often collapse, so there must be something inherent  
in us that keeps us behaving like pack animals even though wolves are much 
more  altruistic and generally don't kill each other; chimps do.
