Subject: [MAPPING-CYBERSPACE] Web Trend Map 2007 and Wired Countries of the
World map
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi, a couple of new(ish) and interesting cyber maps that I came across
this today.

Information Architects Japan's 'Web Trend Map 2007', a fascinating
reworking of the subway metaphor.

World Information Access Project has put together a 'Wired Countries of
the World'

( Further details at
http://www.wiareport.org/index.php/2007-briefing-booklet/ )

Not sure how workable the WIA 'wired' map really is, but it reminds me of
Nico Macdonald's 'Network Society' map from ten years,
