In light of some of our earlier conversations, this looks like a good
talk. I won't be able to make it (plumbing!) but if someone does,

"What is Energy?"
by
Norman Margolus
MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
Abstract
Entropy was once viewed as an abstract mathematical construct, but
it is today understood as a concrete combinatorial quantity that
applies to both quantum and classical systems. In this talk we
discuss Energy as a similar combinatorial quantity.
