People over the age of 40 can provide extreme talent, knowledge, dedication
and thoughtfulness. Many people start second and third careers over 55 --
some over 60, and still offer years of service. Maybe they don't choose
to/or can't put in as long days as the very young, but their time is worth
possibly more and their hours are more valuable much of the time.

You will find that people often devote 20 or so years to one career, and
then shift. Therefore, placing an age limit on just who you are looking for
may not provide the kind of people you actually want. One of the things I
enjoyed while working in Washington, D.C. was there were many older people,
often well into their 70's and even 80's, working for different Senators or
Congressmen, or on Committee staffs. They were bright, knowledgeable people
to contributed much to the general thinking and development of plans.
