The WPI students will be arriving in Santa Fe on Saturday. Fabio
Carrera (their professor) has asked me to beg, fabricate, borrow,
purchase or otherwise acquire furniture for their apartment.
There's six students. I think they're adaptable towards their living
and sleeping conditions as long as we provide them with some
necessities. The best suggestion so far has been the procurement of
a microwave oven so that they can cook whenever they want to. A few
other necessities may include couches, futons and chairs.
So: Here's what we need. Feel free to add on:
-Pillows
-Futon(s)
-Couch(es)
-Television (maybe)
-Desks
-Sleeping materials like blankets and/or comforters
We also have about $100 to spend. Necessities like sheets and pillow
cases are the intended articles for this money, but I think it can
be used to buy a couch or something too.
If you can help out, let me know and I'll take measures to either
pick up or help deliver the furniture. The students start to trickle
in on Wednesday this week but will all be here Saturday. I'd like to
have some kind of furniture to give/loan them by then.
