On Doug's recommendation, I have been using VirtualBox on a MacBook Pro
for perhaps 6 months. Just running standard vanilla applications, but
no problems.

Hi Doug. We've been taking a nifty Smalltalk/Squeak based web
applications workshop at the complex. It uses Seaside to augment
Squeak to be an impressive webapp framework.
Part of the workshop was getting a server running on our laptops. To
do so, the teacher built an Ubuntu image complete with GemStone, a
professional version of the Seaside environment. He showed us how to
setup VMWare Fusion to run this.
This made me remember your praise of VirtualBox. I wondered if you
know of folks using it successfully on Macs, and what their
experiences might be.
