I just checked, Rhino is working fine on the new App Engine Java
runtime. So unless
this is about some specific JS runtime I think the issue can be
regarded as closed.
Of course, there's no native JS support for the various APIs yet,
but it should be
straightforward to access the Java APIs, and we are determined to
support native JS
APIs in Helma NG soon.
