Cris Moore's CS500/CS491, Theory of Computation course will be
available here in Santa Fe this spring semester! It will use the ITV
(Instructional TV) facilities at CCSF. It is held on Tues/Thurs,
2:00-3:15. I believe Jan 19 is the first class, looking at the UNM
calendar.
The class is based on Cris's book The Nature of Computation, most of
which is available on its website as pdfs. This will let you look at
the material covered. Cris is a SFI professor, in case you have not
met him.
Let me know if you would like to attend. I am currently going through
the admissions and registration process and should be able to help. I
will also go out to CCSF to view the facilities.
