While Glen is off grumbling about something or the other, I thought I'd take
a moment to inform those of you who are interested in the Newegg interaction
[Glen, don't read this] that I just got a call from a very apologetic
customer service manager at Newegg.  Summary of the phone call: "Sorry,
sorry, sorry, so, so very sorry; of COURSE we will refund your money for the
laptop, and please accept this $150 gift certificate in addition."
