Complex Adaptive Systems: Resilience, Robustness, and Evolvability Call for Papers deadline: May 31st, 2010
AAAI Fall Symposium: November 11-13, 2010; Arlington, VA --------------------------------------------------------------- Dear FRIAM folks: We've just finalized the Call for Papers<http://sites.google.com/site/complexadaptivesystems2010/home/call-for-papers>for this year's CAS symposium. I think this event would be of great interested to a lot of folks on this list, so I hope you will consider attending this fall. We plan to build upon our experiences from last year ... in particular, we will provide more opportunities for meaningful interaction and engagement with each other. As with last year's symposium, this event is designed to be extremely cross-disciplinary, with researchers and students from any of the Natural, Physical, and Social Sciences. Our belief is that these interdisciplinary conversations can help us to understand complex systems in any domain. Furthermore, a common "language" of CAS facilitates the use of known phenomena in one domain to inform research in others, even when the domains are far apart.
