Hi, everybody:
I am looking for a primer entitled something like Communication and Modern Life For Old Dummies so I can get oriented to all the plans, and devices, and buzz words that I need to know to figure out my communication situation. Does anybody know of such? I am marooned in the Mosquito Infested Bog with a weedy garden, a bum knee, and a 56k phone line which gives me a complete land line telephone experience for 50 bucks. I also pay 15 bucks a month for a Net-Ten cell phone which works occasionally (but not in the bog) but which I keep for emergency situations. I am READY to try something new and have at least 65 bucks to work with. But I need to understand what the dickens you guys have been talking about for the last two years. 3-g, 4-6, webphone, net stick, its all rock and roll to me. Has anybody laid this out for me to READ somewhere. I can get to an internet café for reading websites. I need to understand . Nick Nicholas S.
