One thing to note is that this new tablet runs neither Android nor iOS thus
is a third platform for tablets/phones.
Either this is going to make a great market for app designers, or create a
lot of silos. Or possibly push us toward yet another convergence, like
PhoneGap

which attempts to be multi-platform via html5/css3/javascript. This has the
added advantage that your website can also be your app! Sorta.
