Does anyone know about Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico in Los Alamos?
It turns out there is no endocrinologist available here in Santa Fe that will take medicare. The death panels are already upon us! The local specialist mentioned one of the practitioners in MANNM, a Dr Garimella, as a good choice. More generally, does anyone have a good suggestion for a practice in Los Alamos or Albuquerque? It looks like Santa Fe may be a poor choice, and so I might as well start looking elsewhere. When I lived in Palo Alto, we had a really great group practice. When my GP first noticed my thyroid problem, he picked up the phone and I went down the hall and had an immediate consultation!
