Hi Gil.  A stunt I use may be of help: text-to-audio.  I'm not sure what
the windows version is but on the Mac "say" lets you "hear" the text you
hand to it.

So I listened to your email via
1 - Copy to pasteboard.
2 - pbpaste | say # pass the pasteboard to "say"

It does a good enough job, makes everyone sound like stephen hawking!  I
use it for literally hours of text while working out.
