I friended Newegg.com on Facebook so that I could tell them (and about 4,000 other people) what I thought about their decision to not let me return a defective refurbished laptop I had purchased from them. Their rationale: I had invalidated the warranty on the machine by installing Linux on it.
The next day I got a phone call (!) from a Newegg manager apologizing and offering to RMA the latop, with free return shipping.
