Tom,

Count this old stingy yankee in for $25. Thanks for doing this.

Matching Challenge for KSFR

 July 2013

Colleagues:

It takes money to keep a community radio station on the air. And,
experience tells us, one of the best ways to raise that money during on-air
pledge drives it to hype matching challenges. Donors pledge a dollar and
their money will be doubled.

I'm on the board of directors of the KSFR's foundation, and I'm trying to
line up multiple $500 matching-donor challenges. Might it be possible that
we could collectively pull together 500 bucks to mount one-side of a
challenge to be promoted on-air in mid-August?

Now, should any one of you want to go all in for the full half-grand, I will
gladly take your check. But if that full-tilt spirit doesn't move you, let
me know what the mini-spirits prompt you to kick in. I can keep your
donation anonymous, if you wish, or - should it seem appropriate to
challenge your coffee-mates - we can turn this into a min-challenge of its
own.

Get back to me, huh?
