Nick -
MMMMMMMMM! Record Macros.
Word (for windows) has progressively undermined its macro-making
abilities. I used to have a huge store of macros for editing and
commenting on manuscripts. I miss them terribly. Can you say more
about macro-making for idiots.
There is one particular key combination a number of FRIAMites have
mastered... it involves simultaneously striking a number of keys at the
same time in the precise pattern of the side of your fist. There are two
macros, one for lefties, one for righties...
These macros delete an entire thread of my and Glen's long and tedious
discussions laced (or larded) with speculation, anecdote, and
argumentative style. "Au Contraire mon Petite Cuchon!"
I don't know the precise combination but a little experimentation may
find it for you... form your fist into a ball and slam it firmly down on
the keyboard while uttering "damn it! Not again!"

I use a logitech G110. I like it for the 'G'- keys, and that it can
record macros.
Problem is the craftsmanship on it is poor. Mine is made with with
average parts. I doubt I need to say much more on that.
This has may have placed me in the market to replace it.
My mouse is probably next, along with the graphics card and hard drive.
(The new parts have to be able to wether the type of use typical to
gamers): my questions are
-------------------------------
I love games, and that may be the reason my keyboard and mouse don't
work well:
What keyboards have people used that are built with that in mind?
I'm considering a Ibm model M keyboard ibm model M keyboard (sold by
unicomp) <http://www.pckeyboard.com/>
What do other people think?
