The https://mayday.us/ kickstarter has a video by Lessig where he's clear this is weird: fight fire with fire (PAC with PAC). What I like most is that they are openly experimental. For example, if they make their current pledge ($5M), they will attempt to change the results of 4 house seats. If it works, they'll have found something that works, and bring that to the 2016 elections. -- Owen
