I have a Note 3. (Note 8 and 10 must be a different series.) The Note 3 is
a phablet. I wanted the largest phone I could get that would  fit into my
pocket. These days it's the Note 3. It has the obvious advantages: you can
use it as both a phone and a tablet. It's fairly camped as a tablet, but
it's fine for most small tasks like email, web browsing, etc. Besides, when
I want to do real work, I use my desktop computer. I wouldn't use a tablet
for serious work in any case. I find it to be the optimal choice.
