Which broaches the idea that what Nick wants is *not* a tool like a software
program. What he wants is a *policy* or community standard behavior for his
participants. Collaborative writing is nothing like a forum and vice versa.
Git's great for collaborative writing, but is oriented to change-tracking, not
the preservation of sequential, whole works. So, what Nick is really asking
for is a project manager, not a piece of software.

Technology does not solve problems.
