I think there is something in here for both what I take to be Glen's and Dave's perspectives as well as many others...
https://charleseisenstein.org/essays/the-conspiracy-myth/ <https://charleseisenstein.org/essays/the-conspiracy-myth/?_page=3> I get a little weirded out when he talks about Rupert Sheldrake, but virtually everything else he discusses I find hard to suppress. And after Sheldrake, he prescribes visiting enemy territory "as a respectful guest, not a hostile spy", which helped me re-read his passage about Sheldrake more thoughtfully. If Eisenstein's mode is interesting to you, I recommend the David Abrams recent conversation with him which also spends a lot of time on "Magic" which I think needn't confront anyone's sensibilities. They also cover some of the larger issues framing Climate Change in what I find to be a very enlightened way that might be easier for (mild?) deniers to hear and a more expansive/productive way for Climate Change Enthusiasts to hear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NGjf-6RYos
