Zeynep Tufekci argues https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/28/opinion/covid-vaccine-variants.html that it's time to get the world vaccination bandwagon on the road. There are signs that more transmissible variants of Covid are coming out of India. There are large populations in Vietnam and Taiwan that haven't yet been exposed. There are hints of medical oxygen shortages developing in the Philippines, South Africa, Nigeria, and Nepal. The last wave of the pandemic could be the worst, every vaccination will count.
