My monkey mind jumped to Z for Zorro (probably not near and dear to the Russian literary/cinematic heart) and half of the antichiral sauwistika 卍... or vaguely referential to Putin's claim that he is removing "Nazis" from the Ukraine gov't. Or maybe Z for Zalensky, their presumed "prime target"?

One of my favorite movies, *Z* (starring Yves Montand and Irene Pappas; written and directed by Costa-Gravas) was based on the real-life story of the overthrow of the Greek Fascist Junta (Regime of the Colonels) in 1974.
