Think of the outsourcing of work that goes to countries like Romania (IBM,
Google, etc).
I don’t agree with the article that Ukraine is necessarily a toxic asset. It
could be cheap labor to someone like Musk with his relaxed constraints..
Build anything you want, anywhere you want. Lots of motivated people.

One of the good things about the situation is indeed to pry Europe off fossil
fuels. If I were in Europe, I’d certainly throw some solar panels on my roof
and buy a heat pump. If the EU govts. aren’t completely insane, there will be
generous tax breaks for that. And they are even making Tesla Ys right there in
Berlin.

For example, the Kyiv Independent and The Guardian have English and/or US
targeted versions. I wonder if RT is the same in the West as it is elsewhere,
esp. within Russia?

It does seem impossible that Russian citizens are so tightly sealed from
information; it is hard to believe the government censoring technology is so
comprehensive. Certainly, within the U.S. one would find millions of people
that have turned their brain off from available evidence: The Fox News viewer.

For anyone who believes that Russians are brainwashed by Putin propaganda /
unaware of the reality of their national situation post Ukraine, or unable to
publish inside Russia
